Job summary

Woodsage LLC is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee daily production operations. You will implement the production plan, communicate performance, and ensure safety and quality standards are followed on the plant floor.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, knowledge of safety regulations and ISO 9000, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge or training in safety regulations and safe work practices.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9000).
• Strong abilities in problem-solving, adaptability, and communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to all safety policies and procedures.
• Support the vision, mission and guiding principles of Woodsage LLC.
• Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook.
• Oversee shift operations by executing the designated production plan.
• Responsible for daily communication of individual production activities.
• Responsible for training and ensuring competence of employees.
• Communicate and provide feedback to team daily.
• Evaluate and document performance by utilizing the Woodsage employee performance review process.
• Oversee general operations of the by: Communicating expectations to employees.
• Routinely verifying employees are on task.
• Evaluating and documenting employee performance.
• Assisting with problem resolution.
• Ensuring compliance to safety and handbook policies and procedures.
• Ensuring completion of all appropriate documentation related to employees or production.
• Communicate issues with Director of Operations.
• Assist Human Resources and Management with maintaining proper staffing levels.
• Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping levels are kept at a satisfactory level through the plant.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
