Job summary

Better Buzz Coffee Roasters is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Arizona to lead daily operations with enthusiasm and guest-focused service. Earn base pay of $17.00 per hour plus tips averaging about $4 per hour, with a 28-hour minimum weekly schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred.
• Previous fast paced coffee experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Drive-Thru experience is preferred.
• Guest service focused, solution oriented.
• Must be available to work 28 hours per week including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service.
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards.
• Work all café positions, cross-trained and adaptable including kitchen duties.
• Help run and administer a smooth schedule for breaks, meals, and shifts.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work, and special tasks.

Compensation

Base pay is $17.00 per hour.

• In addition to base pay, our team members also receive tips averaging approximately $4.00 per hour. Although tips can vary and are not guaranteed, our amazing guests regularly reward our team with generous gratuities for the great service and Buzz Life energy we bring every day. Actual amounts may differ based on location, hours worked, quality of service, and guest discretion. Average tips reflect 2024 reporting.

Responsibilities

  Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
  • Previous fast paced coffee experience preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Drive-Thru experience is preferred
  • Guest service focused, solution oriented
  • Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
  • Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Must be available to work 28 hours/week including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to work a mixture of open, closes and mid-shifts as dictated by the business needs
