Job summary

Better Buzz Coffee Roasters in Imperial Beach is seeking a friendly, energetic Barista to deliver the Better Buzz experience with fast, genuine service.

You will know our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks, prepare and serve beverages to standard recipes, and work cross-functionally across café positions. If you love coffee and guest connection, this is a welcoming place to start or grow your barista career.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred.
• Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service.
• Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service.
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards.
• Work all café positions - our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable, including working in our kitchens to make food to order.
• Keep our spaces clean, safe — always ready for guests and teammates.
• Produces proper drink and food items to standard recipe specifications.
• Stock all necessary ingredients in accordance with each station's needs.
• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products and areas.

Compensation

Base pay is $20.00 per hour + tips
