Are you a hands‑on manufacturing leader who knows how to motivate a team, solve problems, and keep production moving? We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd Shift operations and help ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production while meeting customer delivery requirements.
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM
Additional Hours:
Occasional Friday hours may be required based on customer and production needs.
What You’ll Do
In this hands‑on leadership role, you will oversee daily production activities, manage workloads, coach employees, and address issues that impact safety, quality, productivity, and on‑time delivery.
- Lead and coordinate daily activities for the assigned department.
- Assign work, set clear expectations, and maintain production schedules and targets.
- Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and attendance to ensure shift goals are met.
- Review production metrics, identify issues, and implement practical improvements.
- Coach, train, onboard, and evaluate employees, including temporary team members.
- Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Build a positive, accountable, and team‑oriented culture.
- Respond quickly to production issues and remove obstacles that may affect the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to production, quality, attendance, and scrap.
- Monitor production schedules, material requirements, customer orders, and monthly forecasts.
- Follow and enforce company policies, procedures, and operating standards.
- Support and maintain compliance with the company’s ISO Quality Management System.
- Communicate production goals, priorities, results, and expectations across all levels of the organization.
- Develop strong knowledge of our products, processes, and equipment to support effective problem‑solving.
- Address employee performance, attendance, and conduct concerns fairly and consistently.
- Partner with other departments to resolve issues and maintain smooth production flow.
What You Bring
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to monitor, understand, and act on daily production metrics.
- Strong ownership of shift performance, productivity, quality, and on‑time completion.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and sound judgment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and follow‑through.
- Ability to coach and motivate employees while holding team members accountable.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to successfully complete required pre‑employment screenings.
