Job summary

Ox Carolinas Tube & Core seeks a Production Supervisor to lead hourly production teams at the York, SC plant. The role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, and quality, with responsibility for coordinating shift activities and meeting output goals.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; paper industry knowledge favored.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Strong safety mindset and good communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills and safety record.
• Able to train, coach, and lead hourly staff.

Responsibilities

• Administers and models safety; enforces safety program for shift employees.
• Ensures OSHA and plant safety standards compliance.
• Coordinates maintenance activities on shift.
• Oversees work in progress and finished goods to specs; minimizes cost and maximizes efficiency.
• Troubleshoots production and quality issues; determines root cause and implements solutions.
• Directs, trains, and coaches employees.
• Executes daily production requirements; aims to meet productivity goals.
• Maintains waste generation at or below budgeted standards.
• Inspects finished product for quality; ensures adherence to specs.
• Delivers timely reporting and audits for shift operations.
• Creates and implements SOPs; ensures environmental compliance.
