Job summary

Canadian Solar Inc. is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor 1 (Rotating Shifts) to lead manufacturing operations on rotating days and nights. You’ll oversee production staff, monitor quality, safety, and schedule adherence, and produce shift activity reports.

You’ll ensure machinery safety, train employees, and guide continuous improvements across the line. Reporting to the production manager, you’ll coordinate with maintenance and other departments, enforce company standards, set daily/weekly

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Production, supervision, or leadership experience.
• Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Six Sigma knowledge.
• Strong communication across all levels.
• Willingness to work continental shift (days/nights).
• Proficiency in MS Office; attention to detail.
• English required; Mandarin preferred.
• Technical/engineering background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates a production shift.
• Work rotating shifts every 3 months (days/nights).
• Monitor and respond to daily product and process concerns.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical problems.
• Ensure employees are trained and qualified before operating machinery.
• Provide leadership and foster positive staff relationships.
• Coordinate with departments to achieve goals.
• Submit reports on performance and progress.
• Enforce safety guidelines and company standards.
• Organize workflow and communicate duties.
• Coach employees and provide feedback.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
