Job summary

Crown Linen is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to oversee high-volume laundry operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time performance within a fast-paced facility. The role supports the Production Manager and collaborates across departments to meet KPIs and cost targets.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervisory experience in similar settings, a solid grasp of PPOH metrics, and a hands-on leadership style. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in laundry, manufacturing, logistics, commercial laundry, or distribution operations.
• Strong understanding of PPOH, cost control, and workflow optimization.
• Experience in high-volume, time-sensitive environments.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee laundry operations across receiving, sorting, washing, folding, and distribution.
• Monitor labor, productivity (PPOH), and cost metrics.
• Prepare daily KPIs, labor reports, operating logs, and customer feedback.
• Coordinate with Engineering to maintain and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Train, coach, and support staff on production methods and safety procedures.
• Assist in hiring, training, reviews, and disciplinary processes.
• Support OSHA compliance and regulatory training.
