Job summary

LiDestri Foods is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to manage all aspects of the assigned shift in our Rochester, NY facility. You will lead hourly staff, ensure safety, quality, and line efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a production setting.
• Experience in food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with department cost control and budget management.
• Lean manufacturing and/or Lean Six Sigma experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; associates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing operations on assigned shift, meeting safety, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Manage hourly employees including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and attendance.
• Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve process issues.
• Review material transactions and production work orders.
• Maintain records of employee hours and timecards.
• Lead and develop staff with coaching and performance appraisals.
• Schedule staffing, vacations, and PTO.
• Report food safety and quality problems to authorized personnel.
