Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp. is seeking aProduction Superintendent to oversee shift operations, drive safety, quality and efficiency, and ensure production schedules are met. You will lead supervisors and operators, promote continuous improvement, and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and other departments.

The role requires hands-on leadership, familiarity with food manufacturing processes and a track record of improving yield and performance on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial manufacturing role.
• Experience in food manufacturing is preferred and knowledge of QA/safety regs.
• Familiarity with JD Edwards and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift production, ensure schedules, quality, and safety.
• Lead Production Supervisors, Leads, and Operators to meet objectives.
• Analyze operations and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, Sanitation and other departments.
