Job summary

ThermoSafe is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the 1st shift under the Production Manager, focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance in a high-performance team. The role requires monitoring production and implementing processes to improve key results and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include leading safety initiatives, hiring and mentoring staff, driving OEE and continuous improvement, and coordinating with Planning, Maintenance and QA to enhance equipment

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing or technical background required.
• Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience and at least 2 years of experience managing a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety program for employees and regulatory compliance.
• Hire, train, direct and mentor staff on 1st shift.
• Meet or exceed plant productivity, cost, or other performance metric expectations as outlined by production manager.
• Own and drive OEE performance for the assigned shift, monitoring availability, performance, and quality metrics.
• Provide coaching, counseling, or discipline as needed and address employee concerns with HR.
• Support machine installation or removal as needed.
