Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company in USA NE – Columbus (West) is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a production team, coach associates, and uphold safety, quality, and BD policies while driving production performance to meet schedules.

Responsibilities include staffing and training, providing feedback, supporting continuous improvement, and coordinating with planning to establish production plans. Strong communication and problem‑solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s degree completed or in progress is preferred.
• In lieu of an Associate’s degree, 3 years supervisory experience in manufacturing is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address safety issues or incidents promptly.
• Spend at least 75% of time on production floor leading associates.
• Staffing and training plans within the department.
• Provide regular, timely feedback to associates.
• Support continuous improvement activities and achieve production goals.
• Collaborate with Production Planning to establish schedules and monitor performance.
