Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience in a high speed environment.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of safety-related activities and GMP/quality practices.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to understand and interpret the production schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Production Schedule.
• Identify and secure necessary resources (people, materials, etc.).
• Schedule and assign work to staff, adjusting priorities as needed.
• Manage direct labor, materials and other costs to budget.
• Monitor production progress to meet goals; troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to ensure equipment availability.
• Coordinate with incoming/outgoing shift leader for smooth transitions.
• Participate in recruitment and selection of staff.
• Provide ongoing training and development of shift staff.
• Foster a positive work environment with open communication and teamwork.
