Job summary

Wis-Pak is hiring a Production Lead to oversee shift operations and guide a team toward safety, quality, and efficiency goals. You will train staff, enforce policies, and ensure smooth cross-department communication to keep production aligned with standards.

Ideal candidates are dependable, proactive leaders who thrive in team-driven environments and can manage changeovers, material use, and cost control while maintaining high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong problem-solving and instruction-following abilities.
• Team-first attitude with ability to work independently.
• Forklift operation skills and ability to pass the Forklift Operators License test.
• Physical ability to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness to work in temperatures 60–90°F or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead all personnel and operations during your shift.
• Perform package and product changeovers with precision.
• Maintain low-cost, high-quality production practices.
• Ensure proper use of raw materials and promotional items.
• Enforce safety standards and PPE usage.
• Monitor quality assurance and GMP compliance.
• Communicate with employees to prevent errors and promote teamwork.
• Collaborate with other departments and provide daily updates to shift leads and supervisors.
• Support coding, recycling, housekeeping, and personal training initiatives.
