Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
5+ years’ experience with plastics-related machinery.
3 years’ experience as a shift mechanic.
Experience maintaining and repairing plastics manufacturing equipment.
Experience troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, and other industrial mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and equipment documentation.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment to minimize production downtime.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
Inspect, rebuild, and replace mechanical components to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Support maintenance activities for production equipment and plant support systems.
Work independently and with teams to resolve equipment issues.
Assist electricians with equipment repairs when mechanical support is needed.
