Job summary

Reynolds Consumer Products in Wheeling, IL is seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic to keep plant equipment running reliably, safely, and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, perform PMs, complete SAP work orders, and install or replace parts. The role requires forklift and related equipment certifications, a HS diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work rotating shifts on days/nights.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of apprenticeship or 2 years’ maintenance repair experience.
• Certification to operate Forklift, Scissors Lift, Cherry Picker and Bobcat.
• Ability to do basic machine shop, welding and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Complete work orders in SAP and pass on jobs in orderly fashion.
• Perform minor electrical work as needed with proper training.
• Rebuild pumps, replace seals and service extrusion systems.
• Adhere to safety, GMP, PPE and plant operational rules.
