Job summary

Prysmian in Du Quoin, IL is seeking a hands-on manufacturing supervisor to lead shift functions, plan work, optimize equipment and manpower, and uphold safety and quality. You will supervise hourly teams and coordinate with maintenance to keep lines running.

You will drive lean improvements using 6S, Visual Management, RTFT, and Tier Communication while collaborating with cross-functional partners to sustain production on schedule.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• 1-3 years supervising a large team in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate one or more major manufacturing functions on a shift.
• Optimize equipment, manpower, and production flow to schedule while ensuring safety and quality.
• Maintain records, coach operators, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional partners.
