Job summary

True North operates a fast-paced convenience store in Wisconsin. The Shift Manager supports guest service, merchandising, pricing, loss prevention, inventory, and fuel transactions, while maintaining a clean, friendly shopping environment.

In this role, you will assist with daily operations, train and supervise team members, handle cash and POS transactions, and escalate issues to the Store Manager as needed. Flexibility for evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service or cashier experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle for banking purposes.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service in accordance with company standards.
• Accurately process customer transactions using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Perform food service tasks following food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Assist with inventory management, merchandising, pricing, and loss prevention.
• Train and supervise team members as directed by Store Manager.
• Run daily reports and banking procedures as directed by management.
