Job Description

Serve as Manager on Duty by opening and closing the store, assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing store operations.

Greet every guest entering the store and provide friendly, prompt, fun, and courteous service.

Operate a Point-of-Sale terminal to process transactions accurately, handle cash and other tenders, apply coupons or discounts per company procedures, and perform opening and closing reconciliations.

Attend onsite and online training to gain knowledge of management practices, products, and services such as our Sourced & Certified products.

Maintain Responsible Vendor status throughout employment by verifying age for alcohol and tobacco purchases when operating POS, wine taps, growler stations, or tasting tables.

Train, coach, and direct sales associates acting as Manager on Duty to promote excellent customer service and adherence to store procedures.

Assist in daily property maintenance, including debris cleanup, trash disposal, cart collection, and restroom cleaning.

Provide wrapping services for ABC products, assemble gift baskets, and offer carry-out services as needed.

Unload weekly truck deliveries, merchandise and display products on shelves and coolers, restocking from stockrooms as necessary.

Perform other tasks or projects assigned by the store management team.

Job Requirements

• Candidates should be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High School Diploma or GED required; at least 6 months of management or leadership experience; or 1 year of college in Business Management or related field, or equivalent experience.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for long periods, up to 8 hours, and move throughout the store.
• Frequently lift or move up to 35 pounds.
• Occasionally use ladders or step stools to access stock or shelves.
