Responsibilities

1. The Shift Manager-Slot is responsible for providing leadership, integrity, and management of the operations on their shift. This includes currency and ticket accountability, employee development, staffing and scheduling, and managing all procedures and processes that support Slot Operations while maintaining the highest standards of player service.
2. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and developing positive employee morale.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least four years of experience in Slot Operations in a similar position preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• This position requires standing and walking on the casino floor, frequent finger and manual dexterity, grasping, bending, reaching motions, consistent with regular office and computer work, lifting up to 10 lbs, and hand-eye coordination.

Work Environment

• May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, secondhand smoke and excessive noise.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• The work environment is hectic, fast-paced, often crowded and noisy, with potential exposure to casino-related environmental factors such as secondhand smoke, noise, and public interactions.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting, and all other employment aspects is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

Final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, which may include credit and criminal background checks, prior to an offer being extended.
