Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Mansfield Works is seeking a Shift Manager Operations to supervise and direct the activities of operating employees in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. The role requires a strong communicator who is organized and able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• 2-5 years of supervisory experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to lead and motivate employees.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends/holidays, in a 24/7 operation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supervisory control over the crew's activities.
• Schedule equipment and manpower.
• Conduct daily and monthly safety meetings.
• Assist in development/review/update of Job Safety and Health Analyses (JSHA) to eliminate hazards.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

The Shift Manager will be responsible for supervising and directing the activities of operating employees in the department.
