Location: Coshocton, OHCleveland-Cliffs, Coshocton Works, located in East Central Ohio, a stainless finishing operation and one of the nation’s leading producers of flat rolled stainless steel, has an immediate opening for an Operations Shift Manager.Summary of Responsibilities:Administration of company policies and proceduresSupervise and provide work direction to hourly bargaining unit employeesParticipate and implement the safety program goals to ensure a safe work environment by conducting safety contacts, observations, meetings, and auditsAdhere to the Quality Policy to promote continuous improvement of our products, processes and servicesAttain results through effective planning, organizing, controlling, and assignment of prioritiesMaintain effective and consistent work performance, even under uncertain or unstructured conditions in the face of stressIdentify basic problem(s), gather the appropriate information, and analyze in an effective mannerMake decisions with a clear business focus on safety, quality, environmental, and productivityAssist in the development, review, and update of JHSA's (Job Safety and Health Analysis) to eliminate safety hazards and QSOP’s (Quality Standard Operating Procedures)Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications :Supervisory experience in a business environmentProficient computer skills including Microsoft Word and ExcelExcellent communication skillsStrong organizational skillsMust be willing to work rotating shifts, holidays and weekends when requiredPreferred Qualifications:Associate or bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, or business disciplineThree+ years of supervisor experience in an industrial union environmentCleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
