Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Butler Works in Butler, PA, is seeking a Shift Manager Maintenance to lead hourly union maintenance staff, oversee safety, environmental, and quality goals, and coordinate equipment maintenance within the department to meet production needs.

You will supervise and direct the work, implement safety programs, coordinate outages, analyze equipment needs, and drive root-cause analysis and improvements across the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills for problem solving.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing to include mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Location: Butler, PA

Cleveland-Cliffs, Butler Works has an opportunity for a Shift Manager Maintenance role. The Shift Manager will be responsible for providing work direction to department maintenance hourly union employees. This position manages employee safety, environmental and quality issues as well as assists in coordinating equipment maintenance within the department to best meet the production department’s needs.
