Job summary

Golden Chick in Kerrville, MO is expanding and seeking an Hourly Manager to lead daily operations. You will supervise a team, manage scheduling, inventory, and payroll, and ensure excellent guest service.

You will interview, hire, and onboard staff, train crew members, and coordinate with the GM on food prep, packaging, and POS tasks. Must work variable evenings and weekends; State Food Handler certification within 60 days is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage a store team of 15–30 employees.
• Must obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire.
• Willingness to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Learn line and staff functions and company policies.
• Set performance goals with upper management.
• Direct, coach, and lead team members.
• Schedule creation, inventory, and payroll proficiency.
• Interview, select, and onboard new employees.
• Train and develop crew members.
• Oversee food prep, cooking, packaging, and POS operations.
• Handle cash from in-house and drive-thru guests.
• Resolve food quality or service issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain clean workstations and enforce safety protocols.
• Open/close restaurant and complete opening, mid-shift, and closing checklists.
• Communicate positively with customers, staff, and managers.
