Job summary

Shake Shack in Edison, NJ is seeking a restaurant leadership team member to supervise shift operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed. You will help build a high performing hourly team and participate in interviews and employee relations.

We offer a starting hourly rate of $20.00–$24.00, with an additional $2/hour for certain night shifts, plus weekly pay and a broad benefits package as part of our ShackFam culture.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
