Job summary

JOEY Restaurants is seeking a Shift Manager to drive success for a multi-million-dollar restaurant and its people.

You will attract, retain, and develop a high-performing team while delivering Quarterly goals and maintaining top product, profit, environment, and guest experience standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years leadership experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Must have or obtain valid local/state Food Handler and Cal RB Certification.
• Passion for hospitality with a proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team with strong coaching.
• Deliver friendly, attentive service and uphold brand standards.
• Resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.

As aShift Manager, you will directly contribute to the overall success of a multi-million-dollar Restaurant and its people. In this role, you willbe responsible forattracting,retaining,and developing a high performing team, while driving their personal growth. You will efficiently deliver and execute quarterly strategic planning goals while upholding the highest standards in product, profit,environmentand experience.

Wage Scale

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Actual offer within the listed range may vary based on work experience and other objective factors. The pay range for this position is subject to change and may be modified in the future, in compliance with applicable laws.

Duties

• Foster a cohesive and collaborative team environment through exemplary leadership.
• Provide guests with friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience. Show them what Iconic Hospitality means!
• Resolve service issues and guest complaints with a sense of urgency, poise, and good judgment.It’sYour Business.
• Assistwith managing store sales, budgets, cost of goods, and labor.
• Supervise and guide our service and experience standards and provide impactful coaching as needed.
• Build sales opportunities and positive guest experiences.
• Fulfill recruitment needs, impact positive candidate experience andselectionandretainyour team.
• Support with training and development of technical knowledge and execution.
• Communicate daily focus and feedback to service and kitchen teams.
• Follow all food and alcohol service and handling safety precautions and procedures.

Basic Qualifications

• 1-3 + years leadership experience(If you have high potential but less experience, we still want to meet you!).
• Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler and California Responsible Beverage Service certifications.
• Possess a passion for hospitality and a proventrack recordof creating world-class hospitality experiences.
• Thrivein adynamic,fast-paced work environment.
• Be able towalk andstand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks;and liftand carryup to50lbs.
