Qualifications

• At least 3 years culinary experience in a high-volume environment.
• Valid local/state Food Handler and California RBS certifications.
• Passion for delivering hospitality and maintaining high standards.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting with physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and foods to fulfill prep lists, par levels, and recipe standards.
• Use various methods to quickly and precisely create menu items per JOEY recipes.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe prep and cooking areas.
• Ensure refrigerators, ovens, storage areas, and dry storage are organized and maintained.
• Train partners on safety guidelines and proper equipment use; report issues promptly.
• Support recruitment and strengthen candidate experience to build a strong team.
• Help train and develop technical knowledge and world-class execution of JOEY tasks and standards.
• Communicate daily focus and feedback to partners.
• Assist in managing in-store budgets, food costs, and labor.
• Help drive Iconic Hospitality and coach the kitchen team to meet guest experience standards.
• Follow all food safety precautions and procedures.

Annual Salary Range

$70304.00 - $90000.00 per year

Actual salary offer within the listed range may vary based on work experience and other objective factors. The pay range for this position is subject to change and may bemodifiedin the future, in compliance with applicable laws.

Duties

• Support your team in the preparation of all ingredients and food products to fulfill prep lists, par levels, and recipe standards.
• Utilize various preparation and cooking methods to ensure the quick, precise creation of our menu itemsin accordance withJOEY recipes. Wash, chop, cut, grill, roast, sauté, fry, etc. Coordinate with other stations as needed.
• Maintainprep and cooking areas in aclean,sanitaryand safe manner.
• Ensureclean, organized, andmaintainedrefrigerators, cooler drawers, ovens, preparation, and dry storage areas, etc.
• Train partners on the instructions and guidelines for safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds. Report on equipment problems and maintenance issuesimmediately.
• Fulfill recruitment needs,impactpositive candidate experiences, and select andretainyour team.
• Supportyour teamin training and development of technical knowledge andworld-classexecutionof JOEY tasks and standards.
• Communicate daily focus and feedback to partners.

• Impactthe delivery of Iconic Hospitality and coach the kitchen team as needed to fulfill experience standards for our guests.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years culinary experience(If you have high potential but less experience, we still want to meet you!).
• Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler and California Responsible Beverage Service certifications.
• Possess a passion for hospitality and a proventrack recordof creating world-class hospitality experiences.
• Thrive in adynamic,fast-paced work environment.
• Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; and lift and carry up to 50lbs.
