JOEY Restaurants in Los Angeles is seeking a Server who delivers a world-class hospitality experience. You will anticipate guest needs, share menu knowledge, and recommend beverages and dishes to suit preferences and dietary needs.

This role requires 1-3 years of customer service, ability to stand for long periods, and certifications like Food Handler and California Responsible Beverage Service. It offers growth with a dynamic, team-driven company that values warmth and career development.

Wage Scale

$18.42 per hour. This position is eligible for tips.

Duties

• Provide guests with friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience. Show them what Iconic Hospitality means!
• Assistguests with navigating our menu options. Utilize your extensive menu knowledge to recommend favorite beverage andfooditems per relevant likes, dislikes, and dietary needs.
• Ensuretimelyandaccurateinput of orders in the point-of-sale system.
• Monitor andassistwith the delivery of guest beverage andfoodorders.
• Prepare final guest checksin a timely mannerand run payments safely and securely.
• Resolve service issues and guest complaints with a sense of urgency, poise, and good judgment.It’sYour Business.
• Reinforce guest identification requirements and age restrictions for alcohol salesin accordance withstate law.
• Follow all food and alcohol service and handling safety precautions and procedures.

Basic Qualifications

• 1-3+ years customer serviceexperience(If you have high potential but less experience, we still want to meet you!).
• Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler and California Responsible Beverage Service certifications.
• Possess a passion for hospitality and a proventrack recordof creating world-class hospitality experiences.
• Thrive in adynamic,fast-paced work environment.
• Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; and lift and carry up to 50lbs.
