Steak ’n Shake in Gastonia, NC is hiring a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with energy, confidence, and accountability.

You will ensure openings/closings, coach team members, deliver fast, friendly service, and uphold brand standards. We offer top hourly wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, retirement, and Next Day Pay.

Candidates should have prior supervisory restaurant experience and a strong guest-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a fast-paced setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily restaurant operations with energy, confidence, and accountability.
• Ensure strong openings and closings by setting up the team for success.
• Set the tone for the shift—motivate and coach team members for success.
• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service that exceeds guest expectations.
• Ensure all brand standards are met - cleanliness, food safety, and quality.
• Handle opening and closing duties, including key-holder responsibilities.
• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and team members.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect.
• Step into any station as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
