Job summary

Steak ’n Shake Goshen is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, ensure strong openings/closings, and maintain brand standards. Earn an hourly wage up to $20.50 plus unique bonus opportunities in a high-energy setting.

You will coach and motivate the team, deliver fast, friendly service, manage deposits, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Must be reliable and adaptable to nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and professional with a strong guest service focus.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching ability to mentor team.
• US work authorization and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with energy, confidence, and accountability.
• Ensure strong openings and closings by setting up the team for success.
• Set the tone for the shift—motivate and coach team members for success.
• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service that exceeds guest expectations.
• Ensure all brand standards are met - cleanliness, food safety, and quality.
• Handle opening and closing duties, including key-holder responsibilities.
• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and team members.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect.
• Step into any station as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
