Job summary

SOAR Restaurants Sonic in Athens, GA seeks an Assistant Manager to help lead and manage drive-in operations and staff during shifts. This role supports ensuring excellent guest service and adherence to company standards.

The individual will supervise shift employees, handle guest and staff concerns, and contribute to cost-control, inventory, and records. Requires restaurant management experience and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least six months of restaurant management experience or one year of retail management experience.
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Knowledge of general restaurant or retail operations and applicable laws.
• Knowledge of labor and employment laws (federal, state, local).
• Basic computer, math, and reading skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, time management, and conflict-resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Train, manage, direct, coach, lead, and assign drive-in employees during shift.
• Lead drive-in operations to provide an optimal guest experience.
• Manage staffing levels during shift.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Handle guest issues/concerns during shift.
• Handle employee issues/concerns during shift.
• Monitor cost-control, labor, inventory during shift.
• Assist with drive-in records and compliance with policies.
• Perform all station duties as necessary during shift.
• Maintain cleaning and sanitation per standards.
• Attend work punctually and consistently.
