McDonald's Lincoln-area franchise is hiring a Part Time Shift Manager to lead Crew Members during shifts, ensuring fast, friendly service while upholding quality, service, and cleanliness standards. You’ll plan and organize each shift, coach staff, handle inventory and training, and prepare the restaurant for a successful shift transition.

This position is with an independently owned and operated McDonald’s franchise restaurant. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters at this restaurant, including hiring, discipline, supervision, staffing, scheduling, and termination.

What You’ll Do

Shift Managers provide leadership during assigned shifts to help ensure customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service while maintaining strong standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Responsibilities may include:

• Leading Crew Members during assigned shifts
• Planning and organizing each shift
• Assigning positions and responsibilities to Crew Members
• Monitoring performance throughout the shift
• Coaching employees and providing direction when needed
• Ensuring quality food production and accurate service
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
• Supporting safety and security procedures
• Monitoring shift performance and restaurant results
• Assisting with inventory and restaurant systems

• Communicating important information to other Managers
• Preparing the restaurant and team for a successful shift transition

Shift Managers may also be assigned responsibilities within specific restaurant systems or departments.
