Job summary

Steak ’n Shake Springfield is hiring a Shift Manager who will lead daily restaurant operations with energy, confidence, and accountability. This role will set the tone for the shift, coach teams for success, and ensure fast, friendly service that meets brand standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• US work authorization.
• Experience in a supervisory or restaurant management role preferred.

• Ensure strong openings and closings by setting up the team for success.
• Set the tone for the shift—motivate and coach team members for success.
• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service that exceeds guest expectations.
• Ensure all brand standards are met - cleanliness, food safety, and quality.
• Handle opening and closing duties, including key-holder responsibilities.
• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and team members.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect.
