Job summary

Steak ’n Shake Bourbonnais is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with energy and accountability. You will oversee openings, closings, and team motivation while upholding brand standards and guest service excellence.

The role emphasizes fast, friendly service, coaching of staff, and maintaining cleanliness and food quality. A supervisory background is preferred, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service that exceeds guest expectations
• Ensure all brand standards are met - cleanliness, food safety, and quality
• Handle opening and closing duties, including key-holder responsibilities
• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and team members
• Support training and onboarding of new team members
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect
• Step into any station as needed to keep operations running smoothly
