Job summary

McDonald’s restaurant franchisee is seeking a Shift Manager to lead shifts weekly, ensuring fast, accurate and friendly service. You will supervise crew and other managers to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include shift planning, monitoring performance, taking corrective action, safety, profitability, and handing over to the next Shift Manager. You may meet shift targets and support departments to achieve goals.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to manage in a corporate owned restaurant.
• Candidates should be positive team players, flexible with their schedule, and thrive in a fast paced environment.

Description

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers throughout the shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness.

Shift Managers perform various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, taking corrective action to meet standards, monitoring safety, security, profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to ensure a smooth handover. They may also be responsible for meeting shift targets and helping their assigned Departments achieve goals.
