Job summary

Popeyes is seeking a Shift Leader to support daily restaurant operations and help drive excellent guest experiences. You will assist the General or Assistant Manager, mentor team members, and ensure food is prepared and served with care, accuracy, and Popeyes Cajun hospitality.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year in QSR, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with POS systems; ServSafe is a bonus. This role offers growth opportunities and a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of quick service restaurant (QSR) experience required.
• High School diploma or GED preferred; ServSafe is a plus.

What Youll Do (Responsibilities):

Our Shift Leaders are the key to operating our restaurants daily. You will help support the General and/or Assistant Manager, ensuring that every shift operates smoothly. You will also help team members through performance and training initiatives. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service will keep our customers coming back for more. The perfect candidate will deliver food to guests that is perfectly cooked, made with love, and served with Popeyes famous Cajun Hospitality.

What Youll Bring (Requirements):

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry is required.
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Communication and team management abilities.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
