Job summary

Steak ’n Shake Sagamore Pkwy. Lafayette is hiring a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with energy and accountability. You will ensure strong openings/closings, coach the team, and deliver fast, friendly service that meets brand standards.

The role offers pay up to $17.75 per hour, plus bonus options and a broad benefits package, including health coverage, a 401(k) with employer match, and next-day pay. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. EVerify is used for eligibility.

• Handle opening and closing duties, including key-holder responsibilities.
• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports.
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect.
• Step into any station to keep operations running smoothly
