Job summary

Papa John’s International is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts. You will supervise the team, ensure quality products, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold company safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires at least 1 year in QSR, strong leadership and communication, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Experience with POS systems and ServSafe is preferred. Competitive benefits and training provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) experience required.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Familiar with POS systems; ServSafe certification preferred.
• Availability for evenings, holidays, and weekends.
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to handle physical demands of a restaurant.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

You’ll lead by example, support company policies and procedures, and help maintain compliance with all safety and business standards while keeping the restaurant profitable and running smoothly.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry is required.
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
