The Shift Manager acts as the restaurant leader in the absence of management, interacts with staff, vendors, and guests, and is responsible for executing shift plans, motivating staff, and resolving customer issues promptly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing restaurant operations during shifts, including labor, inventory, and guest feedback responses.
  • Providing clear production direction and leading by example.
  • Delegating tasks to promote teamwork and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Motivating staff to deliver excellent food and service in a clean environment.
  • Handling guest complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Training and motivating team members at workstations.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, security, and company policies.
  • Reporting safety and policy violations immediately.
  • Completing shift checklists related to cash, inventory, and scheduling.
  • Performing essential functions of a Team Member as needed.
  • Working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of all Burger King certification programs.
  • English language proficiency preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and be reachable by phone.
  • Ability to handle all Team Member responsibilities listed above.
