Job summary

Jimmy John's in Edmond, OK is seeking an Inshopper supervisor to lead a team of 5-7 at the shop. You will assign, oversee and evaluate work, and provide on-the-job training for new employees to ensure smooth daily operations.

You will supervise food preparation and service, assist inshoppers during rush periods to maintain efficiency, greet customers, take orders, ring up sales, assemble orders, and ensure world-class customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage a staff of approximately 5-7 employees and oversee and evaluate work.
• Provide on the job training for new employees.
• Assist in supervision of the preparation, sales and service of food.
• Supervise food preparation and service operations while on duty.
• Assist inshoppers during rush periods to ensure restaurant efficiency.
• Greet customers, take orders, use the cash register, assemble orders and ensure orders are complete and correct.
• Ensure that every customer receives world class customer service.
• Complete daily food preparations and opening procedures, including meat and vegetable slicing and bread production.
• Complete closing procedures and daily/weekly paperwork.
• Responsible for cash drawers at all times during shifts.
• Receive and store products and audit previous shift procedures for integrity.
• Complete preventative maintenance and upkeep on store equipment and supplies.

Ensure that every customer receives world class customer services. Complete daily food preparations (opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing, bread production, etc.) Completes closing procedures. Executes systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness. Completes daily and weekly paperwork. Responsible for 100% of the cash drawers at all times during the shifts. Receives and stores product. Audits previous shift's systems and procedures for 100% integrity and completeness. Completes preventative maintenance and upkeep on store's equipment and supplies.
