Freddy’s Shift Managers assist the Assistant and General Manager in daily restaurant operations, providing leadership and motivating staff to meet goals. You’ll control labor and costs, build guest relationships, handle issues, and model hospitality.

Responsibilities include teaching Freddy’s standards, coaching team members, managing performance, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency on the floor.

About the Role

Freddy’s Shift Managers assist the Assistant and General Manager in the daily operations of our restaurants, providing leadership and motivating team members to meet operational goals. You’ll control labor and food costs, build relationships with guests, handle guest issues and serve as a model of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and practice Freddy’s standards of hospitality, quality and cleanliness
• Lead by example; be organized and vocal, with strong time‑management skills
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and accept coaching/constructive criticism
• Practice situational management and maintain a sense of urgency at all times
• Correct operational mistakes with the goal of satisfying the guest
• Spend the majority of time on the restaurant floor (not in the office)
• Assess team‑member performance, coach and develop them, and build a positive team culture
• Reduce waste, manage labor and improve overall efficiency
• Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and equipment
• Foster strong vendor relations and ensure product execution is on point

Physical Requirements

• Availability to work a variety of hours (days, nights and weekends) within the local metro area
• Ability to stand or walk for up to a 10‑hour shift and lift up to 40lbs
• Willingness to bend, stoop and occasionally use a ladder
