Candidate Expectations:

A Shift Manager is responsible for running excellent shifts and supporting the General Manager and Assistant Managers in operating an Arby's restaurant to ensure guests receive outstanding dining experiences. The role requires guiding team members, ensuring operational standards, and training staff across all restaurant positions. The Shift Manager must be able to stand for up to 8 hours and lift 25 to 40 pounds. Physical activities include pushing, pulling, stretching, reaching, bending, and repetitive use of fingers and wrists. Effective communication—both verbal and written—with employees, supervisors, guests, and vendors is essential. Additionally, the Shift Manager must reconcile cash, complete paperwork, and monitor quality, service, cleanliness, and safety standards.
