Job summary

Layne's Chicken Fingers is seeking a dedicated Shift Manager in Bentonville, AR to oversee daily shifts and ensure our guests experience Layne's culture and service excellence.

You will lead a fast-paced team, train staff, and manage operations while promoting a fun, high‑standard work environment. Prior fast food management and flexible scheduling are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a fast food concept, opening and closing shifts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and lift 10–55 lbs.

The Layne's culture stems from our roots in College Station, where back in 1994, we perfected our chicken finger frying technique. True to our roots, we are a fun, fast paced dynamic team who do not take ourselves seriously, but we take our food and our service EXTREMELY seriously.

Role

The Shift Manager’s primary responsibility is managing shifts and ensuring our team is conveying the Layne's culture to our guests, being a creative team player who likes to work hard and have fun. He/she will be responsible for upholding the Layne's standards for our guests’ experience.

• Oversee officers as they perform daily duties, such as hand cutting fresh chicken tenders, hand squeezing lemons for our home‑made lemonade recipe, brewing our famous home‑brewed tea, and mixing all of our delicious dipping sauces.
• Proactively manage restaurant operations in compliance with our standards and continuously train and mentor officers.
• Uphold the culture of ensuring everyone has fun while we serve guests our "soon to be famous" TM chicken fingers.

Qualifications

• Have experience in managing a fast food concept, opening and closing shifts.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Have the ability to communicate effectively.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Have the ability to lift and carry 10–55 lbs.
