Job summary

Eden Capital Careers seeks a Maintenance Shift Supervisor for a new Food & Beverage plant in Prattville, AL. You will lead a shift of maintenance technicians, owning safety, quality, food safety, and environmental results while driving preventive work and reducing reactive repairs.

Collaborate with planning on backlog and staffing, manage CMMS work orders, and mentor technicians. Relocation is available for qualified candidates with 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years leading or supervising maintenance in manufacturing.
• Food, beverage, or CPG experience preferred; other industries will be considered.
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, drive, and industrial electrical troubleshooting background.
• ERP-based CMMS experience required.
• A floor-first leader who is credible with technicians.
• Communicates clearly and holds a crew accountable through a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a shift crew and own safety, quality, and environmental results.
• Assign daily work orders and ensure all tasks are completed correctly.
• Lead shift handoffs and represent maintenance in tier meetings.
• Collaborate with planning on backlog, priorities, and staffing.
• Manage job quality, timing, cost, and completeness.
• Shift focus from reactive repairs to planned and preventive work.
• Perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Close out work orders in CMMS with cause, action, and parts.
• Develop technicians via coaching and development plans.
• Support OEE and continuous improvement for assigned equipment.
