Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Harvest Maintenance Supervisor to support the Slaughter Maintenance Department. You will assist in day-to-day plant operations, troubleshoot equipment, install new machinery, and maintain existing systems in a safety-conscious environment.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, leadership of assigned mechanics, and adherence to company safety policies. Hours are 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, four shifts weekly, with Sundays mandatory.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the mechanical field with emphasis on troubleshooting
• Experience with installation, repair and upkeep of equipment
• Strong commitment to safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Directs assigned employees in maintenance work and production operations
• Records progress of jobs and daily time distribution
• Provides immediate response to emergency needs in Slaughter Maintenance
• Assigns mechanics to shift and planned maintenance tasks
• Instructs mechanics on best methods, materials, tools, and equipment
• Advises peers on variances and optimal methods
• Promotes preventive maintenance and stocking recommendations
• Ensures overtime approval and adherence to schedules
• Ensures compliance with safety and quality standards
