Job summary

East West Tea Company is seeking a Machine Operator for A shift in Eugene, Oregon. You will monitor high-speed tea packaging lines, ensure product quality, and follow GMP and safety guidelines.

This hourly role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. The role reports to the Production Supervisor, with responsibilities across machine operation and quality monitoring.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing production environment.
• Must be able to stand on a cement surface for the full shift.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Must be reliable and able to work overtime and weekends when requested.

Responsibilities

• Runs equipment to meet or exceed standard production rates with minimal packaging material scrap.
• Replenishes supplies such as overwrap, boxes, cartons, glue, wire, filter paper or labels.
• Observes conditions out of tolerance and communicates hazards to supervisor.
• Rotate workstations for variety and training opportunities.
• Stand in for breaks and filling personnel gaps.
• Continually inspect tea bags and finished products to ensure quality and safety.
