Job summary

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Terre Haute, IN is seeking a hands-on Shift Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations, schedule staff, direct workflow, and ensure quality and service standards are met. You will lead by example, train crew, and maintain safety, cleanliness, and accuracy in every shift.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of shift leadership experience in fast food or casual dining, can handle customer complaints with professionalism, and is ready to work evenings,

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be a proven leader in fast food, family dining or casual dining environments.
• We are looking for a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Shift Leader.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
• Must be 18 or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the restaurant operations: schedule work assignments, set priorities, direct the workflow of staff.
• Give clear directions and communication to crew members.
• Ensure all operational/safety procedures are followed: audits, temperature checks and required record keeping.
• Process comps/voids/discounts using the Shift Leader approval procedures.
• Ability to step in to any position.
• Effectively resolve customer complaints or issues.
• Resolve/document employee issues for management following guidelines.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.
