Job summary

MidSouth Hospitality, Inc. is the newest McAlister’s Deli franchisee in Tennessee. An Assistant Manager will support restaurant operations, coach staff, and uphold standards with energy and pride, from the first hello to the final thank-you.

We seek guest-focused, experienced leaders who want to grow, coach others, and help the restaurant succeed in a fast-paced environment with an ownership mentality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to lead and direct staff in an effective, professional manner.
• Must meet company performance standards and expectations for the role.
• Must participate in all company training and orientations, and some training may require overnight travel.
• Must be able to work the assigned schedule and required hours.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds and have the physical ability and stamina to perform management job functions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager in running day-to-day operations and leading the shift.
• Coach team members on service, speed, accuracy, and cleanliness.
• Monitor performance, help solve issues quickly, and keep the restaurant running smoothly.
• Champion a positive, guest-first culture—ensuring every customer feels welcome.
• Help maintain accountability for standards, execution, and continuous improvement.
