Join us as a Shift Leader at Church's Texas Chicken and lead our team to deliver exceptional customer service and quality food.

Position Overview

Reports To: Restaurant General Manager

Department: Field Operations

Job Summary: Serve as a restaurant leader, coaching and training team members to ensure an outstanding customer experience while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service.
  2. Oversee preparation and serving of menu items according to standards.
  3. Assign tasks and monitor activities of team members.
  4. Assist team members in preparing quality products and maintaining cleanliness.
  5. Demonstrate proper procedures and enforce safety policies.
  6. Perform opening and closing duties as per checklists.
  7. Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of food products.
  8. Maintain professional leadership behaviors.
  9. Ensure punctuality and attendance of team members.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. recommended.
  • ServSafe food safety training recommended.
Additional Skills and Requirements
  • Complete weekly sales reports, manage cash and inventory documentation accurately.
  • Enter inventory and payroll data into POS system.
  • Ensure proper nightly closing procedures.
  • Adhere to cash handling and security policies.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and proof of insurance.
  • Successfully complete the Shift Leader certification program.
