Job summary

WhiteWater Express Car Wash is seeking a Shift Leader for a fast-paced, full-time role in Elgin, TX. Starting pay is $15–$17 per hour plus biweekly tips, with paid training and opportunities to grow into management.

You’ll supervise daily shift activities, support the team, ensure safety, and deliver excellent customer service. The role emphasizes leadership, reliability, and a hands-on, outdoor work environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
• Previous leadership, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift
• Available evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Dependable, motivated, and customer-focused
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies
• Must pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Support daily shift operations and assist with team oversight
• Ensure team members understand and complete their responsibilities
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns
• Help customers choose wash packages and memberships
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
• Assist with incident reports and operational documentation
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed
• Support store opening and closing procedures
• Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and wash quality
• Encourage a positive, team-focused work environment
