Oberweis Dairy in Naperville, IL is hiring a Shift Leader to help run the ice cream shop. You’ll support the Store Manager, guide the scoop team, and keep operations smooth while delivering great customer service.

This role requires leadership, basic math, and a willingness to work 3–5 days per week, including nights and weekends. Expect a fast-paced, fun environment with room to grow. Applicants must be at least 18 and able to carry up to 50 lbs, stand long hours, and thrive on teamwork.

POSITION SUMMARY

We're looking for a high-energy, people-loving Shift Leader/Key Holder to help lead our ice cream shop to sweet success. You'll be the right-hand hero to the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, keeping operations smooth, customers happy, and the vibes as fun as our flavors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support our scoop squad
• Deliver amazing customer service
• Manage opening or closing shifts and daily operations
• Keep the shop clean, stocked and running smoothly
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Read, write and understand the English language
• Ability to do simple math
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Positive, upbeat attitude
• Available to work 3-5 days per week, including nights and weekends

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Carry up to 50 lbs
• Stand and walk on a hard surface for 5-8 hours per day
• Tolerate up to 45 minutes in a walk-in cooler at temperatures as low as 32 F during inventory
• Tolerate up to 35 minutes in a walk-in freezer at -10 F during inventory and stocking
